Our fears of Rumanian-type “solutions” seem to be verified, beginning from Veroia, where it was decided, – on the grounds of the rabies cases in Macedonia – that the Municipality of Veroia collects ALL stray dogs from the town, after receiving a document from the Ministry of Health with the order to take measures.
The dog-catcher comes out to the streets again, what we have not seen yet is the gipsy-man with his monkey.
The said document of the Ministry, signed by Ms Makri, mentions that “in case of rabies symptoms the animal will be killed and sent to Athens to the competent authorities in Athens. What will be those symptoms that will allow the authorities to kill the animals Ms Makri?
Which century do we live in?
Are we in the time of the Kaiadas, the middle ages or in the Present Day? We have experienced everything thanks to our governments!
Ms Minister, you stated to our Federation that as long as you are in charge of the Ministry there will be no Rumanian-type incidents.
Unfortunately we can see that this has already begun and we expect the Ministry to stop this completely illegal collection of so many animals.
If you wish, you can “collect” the local municipal and veterinary authorities, which, in so many months, have not done the necessary vaccination of the stray animals, so that at least the millions paid to multinational veterinary medicines companies will not be lost.
