On Friday the 30th of November 2018, a seminar to police officers in Preveza took place.
The seminar was also attended by police officers of police stations in Lefkada and Arta.
Mr. Paris Nikou (Brigadier and Commissioner of Police Station in Preveza) was present throughout the event.
Representatives of the following animal welfare societies were present at the presentation:
- a) Intervention for the Animals of Preveza
- b) Lefkas Animal Welfare Society
Chorti Irini, lawyer of the aforementioned society was also present.
During the seminar, there was a PowerPoint presentation of the law n. 4039/2012 as it was amended by the law n. 4235/2014.
Police officers made a speech and they raised several questions about problems on implementation of animal law which they confront during their work.
