Information campaign by PFPO and Cretan Animal Welfare Association-members of PFPO- in co-operation with Hellenic Police on pet owners of their duties. The information campaign took place in Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion and Lasithi.
Members of “ZOFOROS” accompanied by a police car and two police officers provided information through information material to all residents of the following regions: Faistos, Heraklion, Asterousion Hersonissos.
We had been informed on animal abuse incidents that police will further investigate.
We would like to special thank the extraordinary police stations commanders and police officers for their co-operation and their sensitivity.
Also, we would like to congratulate the willing members of our Federation who had conducted this operation in co-operation with Hellenic Police according with the will of General Police Directorate of Crete.
The fact that police officers have been already informed on animal legislation after PFPO’s informational seminars plays a significant role in our effort.
