Department of Environment or Department of anti-enviroment.
in Animal Welfare News
Sunday, 11 October, 2020Sunday, 11 October, 2020

For one more time the Department of Environment has proved to be the Department of anti-enviroment.

In the regulatory decision 2020-2021 (act B 3053 –07.23.2020) for hunting they once more allow the hunting of globally endangered species!

They even ignore European Union regulations regarding the pause of hunting of some special species like turtledoves and the European /International regulations for hunting season periods.

They even allow hunting inside special protective areas in periods when other species which live in there are being in progress of immigration and no one can guarantee their safety.

That’s Minister of environment ‘s job but he allows the exact opposite to happen!

Furthemore, no data which this new regulation is being based on are available to public .The only sure thing is that they didn t get advise from any environmental organization or European/International law.

We can‘t but think that they act in favour of the big hunting lobby’s interest. Those ‘protectors’ and ‘balancers’ of nature!!

We all know that there’s a lot of money involved in this and the interests are big. From the hunting licence and the simpliest equipment to guns trade. And this is something that most cannot confront.

We even have seen Department of Enviroment’s people attending events of the numerous Federations of hunters.

Not only they are not ashamed that they have given nature and the wild fauna to their rapists but also they are bragging about it.

The wild fauna is being dramatically redused, wild animals are turned to cities for food as most of their game is being decimated by hunters and the ecosystems are being ruined due to human activity.

That is what the Department of environment is for.

Or it has to prove us wrong:

Reduce hunting period’s time, reduce hunting species, ban completely hunting in protective areas and those where endangered species live, also areas that have been hit of fires or other disasters and activities where the animals cannot find food and gradually ban hunting! Make laws that protect the wild fauna, the forests and the environment.

Cause the opposite is happening so far. Disaster, bribery, understatement and extinction of species. Signed by the Department of environment.
