On Monday, 29 May 2023 took place the seminar “PFPO’s programs in the skills platform of the Institute of Educational Policy.”

A PFPO’s collaboration with the Athens B Directorate for Secondary Education, the Directorates for Primary Education: Athens A, Athens C, West Attica, West Thessaloniki, Achaia, the Directorates for Secondary Education: Imathia, Athina C. Christina Nomikou, responsible for education made the presentation. Workshops on plenty of animal welfare issues were coordinated by the members of the education team: Christina Zacharaki, Eleanna Kambaraki, Dimitris Kalaitzidis, and Christina Nomikou. Tasia Mari participated in the seminar, welcomed by the PFPO’s president Mrs. Anna Tosounoglou, and presented “Companion with fairytales” and the relevant youtube channel, which focuses on fairytales with animals.

Special thanks to Mrs. Varvara Petridou, responsible for Environmental Education in Athens B Secondary Education as she organized the seminar, and also to all individuals responsible for Environmental Education who participated.

The seminar was followed with interest by 100 educators of Primary and Secondary Education. In September, we hope that our animal welfare programs will be taught in the context of Skills labs
