Following a series of meetings with SYRIZA, Mera25, Green and Purple, representatives of PFPO and New Democracy met online while the Executive Secretary for companion animals was present.

Topics of the discussion were: i) the questionnaire sent to all parties and ii) claims relate to problems and necessary changes to the institutional framework, staff and training of competent public services, mainly the Hellenic Police and local governance.

New Democracy’s representatives stated that requests of the animal welfare community are carefully scrutinized but specific undertakings were not given.
